The Certificate in Music Industry - Sound Technology is a one-year full-time certificate that is extremely practical and will provide you with the knowledge to pursue an active career in the dynamic world of sound engineering.

This programme is an intensive audio education that covers every facet of music and audio production via a hands-on, learn-by-doing approach. Professional recording engineers will train students in the full range of audio engineering and music production skills, including recording, mixing and optimising audio for music, advertisements, movies and television.

During the programme you will learn how to record an album and set up your own recording studio. You will be trained on state-of-the-art equipment in the on-campus studio.

On completion of this course, students have the option to continue with the second year. Live sound engineering and Pro Tools are covered during this year.
